It's good for a start i'd say. Once you get it, put some more money. If you aren't good with a 100$ account, it'd be the same with a 1000$ account. The money doesn't count, the way you trade and MM does i think.

Depends on how much money you got. With a 100$ account, 2% equals to 2$ so 20 pips (min lot). It's pretty hard to allow yourself a 10 pips loss.
