My personal money/risk managment is to risk 5% over 100 pip emergency stop. I leave the TP open, lock in my first target and let run after that. That allows me to make some decent money when I only get 10-50 pips and when I hit home runs the profit ...

Just thought I'd drop by. Still doing well with this method. Opened up another 5K live account about three weeks ago (edit, looking at the calander more like two). I'm up $1400. Had five winning trades alone today in the U.S. session. Best method ...

If you are making 200-300% a week, then you are waaaaaaaaay overleveraged, that is the only way to make that return. And, in that case, there is no way you are going to be able to protect your account. Withdrawing when you get lucky isn't protecting ...

Looks good for longs to me. Plenty of room to go up, and has gone up long from this point in the past. On weekly maybe even an inverted head and shoulders forming................bitches. Was someone caught short at the start of the long move, sold ...

When I mentioned probability, it was in reply the other poster. My point was that you can not determine the probability of any one trade in a string of trades being a winner. So, risking more on one single trade in your edge because you think it ...

If you don't trade with a fixed risk your equity curve is going to go on a roller coaster ride. Usually a bad one. How do you determine if trade 1 in your edge is more probable to go into profit, then trade 5 or trade 10? You can't. So, for ...

After averaging out wins and losses I''ve made an average of 3% a day for the last two months or so, just risking 5% per trade and sticking to my edge. Compound that. (which I did...that is the secret to real gains) Ya, I'm unrealistic. LOL, you ...

LOL looks like someone just finished a book on trading psychology and is parroting it. We all read the books, we don't need you to reiterate them to us.

Nope, hit my losers already. My winnners make up for my losers either in combination or by being larger. I have enough distractions without dicking around on other trading forums and worrying out who follows me or not. The kind of returns you think ...

Bwhahahahah, you get real, why even bother trading then if thats what you think is one of the highest achievable returns. That doesn't even make mathmatic sense. If a trader has decent system with a good win/loss ratio, and risks just 3% per trade, ...

Can't really count that channel because it was a news reaction/overeaction/spike. You very well could be right, but I think in the short term it's going long, and alll this spiking was just a shakeout before another couple hundred pip move up.

Somehwere around 6 accounts. I'd say about half of them weren't really blown by trading. I depleted them by withdrawing when I had a large property tax bill or something I wanted to buy. I've also just quit before a couple of times in frustration, ...

Yep, thats the session I trade. Just be careful about the U.S. news that often comes out around 7:30. Keep an eye on forexfactory news releases. Plenty of set ups in NY session if you get up an hour before hand.

Ya, but the numbers for 15M is "Buy ONly." On my chart 31, so if it falls a bit in the numbers it would be a range trade per the rules. P.S. I'm acidently already in AU, as I mistook another pairs numbers for AU's. I would not have entered has I ...

Got +49 on a EU long this morning 15M. Waited until it hit 1.2450 after going past TMA & then the trix color change. Like clockwork hit the other side of the TMA and rebounded. Now I'm thinking of a short for EU, already spiked long, just a bit. ...

"Even based on TMA system, this was a good h1 move up." Actually if you look at the numbers for 1H and use the same rules as you use for 15M, and use the higher time frame and not go long if the numbers disagree, it would NOT have been a good long.
