Am I right in assuming that lmax offers no limit* orders, only stop orders? And no slippage control?
*In my understanding a limit order means that I want to trade up to the supplied limit, and not when that limit is reached (which is a stop ...LMAX = revolution?!?

Well, their opening procedure looks cumbersome, the money in-out looks cumbersome, their website looks sh*t, and last not least, their api spells s-l-o-w. I'm sure that it's ~1000 times slower than fix. Xml, json? C'mon.. you're amateurs. Otherwise ...

@1 I appreciate your sense of humor.
This is a very special-purpose code and very limited and not very useful (I think) for everybody. @2 I intend to GPL the code as soon as I can pretty-print it a little bit; unfortunately I do not have the time ...Dukascopy

Yes, why not? I think I can do with it anything I want.
At present the code is tailored to my needs and not very flexible; but if I find the leisure I will make it more versatile, and if so, I plan to release it to the public sometime. Possibly ...Dukascopy

Now, seriously, I think that it is "impossible" to make a terminal that would meet the needs of every trader out there.. so I am quite happy that I can ...Dukascopy

I have been with them for about a year now and so far have not experienced a single glitch with their platform or any other aspect. This said, it is true that their platform is not the most professional. But their api is good enough, so, tired of ...

Afaik the term "handle" relates to futures-trading and means one "point", e.g. quote: "Each ES E-mini point has a multiplier of $50, and if the S&P futures contract moves up or down one point (handle), the E-mini either gains or loses $50".

Well, there is one good thing about jforex. It is quite easily possible to do your own stuff within jforex. The api allows you to obtain a custom area within the application, and, if you're fond of it, you can do your own charting and organise data ...

And I will bet that it isn't.. Even with Dukascopy you still will have to pay per side. That is, Dhb has it incorrect, if your commission is, say $25 per million $, and you open a position of one million $, you will have to pay $25, and when you ...

Yeah spread is pretty bad - most of the time above 1 pip on EU. Live even worse than on demo. That is, I personally have observed differences between both, with live being worse than demo, though not much..

The indicators may need a litte bit of 'tweaking'; with the RSI I found median price as input and a period of 4 the most valuable. Set up like this, the relevant levels are 10/90. Also I combine RSI and the DIs into one window and size it up, to see ...
