$1800 or $2000 or $1450, markets will decide on the price. Personally I don't think we will see $1800 before December or next March. $1600-1700 seems to be a reasonable top for this year.

Now you see the he/she GOT IT among many other people and this is exactly "WHY oh WHY of ALL f-ing days would someone short GOLD". A $55 correction/reversal/pull back/sell off/etc is not a small by any standards especially if you consider the GOLD ...

I think the message is becoming clear: the good ol' USD might be on to something and it probably means more decline in commodities. You can already see it in AUD/USD, EUR/USD... Sorry USD bears, the party might be over :d

And by the way most of the same people who took advantage of the price drop by shorting it, are now probably adding to their longs since 1580 could be taken out much easier after this drop...

Doesn't matter what you call it: retracement, correction, sell off, bear, bull, chimp, parrot, etc. The fact is there was a HUGE drop today and some people took advantage of it. SIMPLE. Unless you call a $40 price drop a tiny correction

Of course not and that is exactly why I have keeping plenty long positions and have added to them over time. But I also see no reason why one cannot or shouldnt take advantage of times when gold price collapses... That is ofcourse true if you know ...
