My attention was elsewhere. Neither gu or gj signaled here. But ej did and if you were then looking at gj/gu charts the 1 min set up looked pretty clean. The red line on 1 min shows where the ej 5 min would have closed. Clean lh's follow.

The other notable thing on dax this morning was the bounce off the 12/13 April gap that was closed.

Changed Dax to stoch 9 9 1 for the 3 bar reversal alert. Chart attached, the red lines refer to the first signals that apply to direction changes. Looks pretty good. Still using 12 12 1 for currencies.

Whilst the early action was all Dax some nice 3 bar reversal signals (link to indi on page 1) when move up failed. Again the hour or so before US open good for currencies.

But there is no crystal ball so high vol is just a warning. As always whats the reaction to the higher vol?

Here vol kicks in twice on the moves up to 9975 and not the 9950 lows, perhaps suggesting some more downside to come. Lots of vol coming in above the last move 9925 suggesting the 200 odd pip move down today has run its course. For now at least.

I look for agreement on Dow also and that is not suggesting buy yet. Had a DB and potentially another coming, TWT. Not an expert at all on vol but know just enough to be dangerous.

Just for emphasis, LO jumped from 4634 area, so if buyers genuine at that level when price came down why no solid move up? Instead small retrace for the LH.
