HanSolo replied Aug 26, 2012I just thought it doesn't make sense to give you the final target as one could just leave the stop very high above until price gets there. So I deleted the post where I presented the target and hope that not so many of you saw it.

HanSolo replied Aug 26, 2012DAY 1 Now we'll go through it bar by bar. As this is a daily chart I'll also provide you with the 8h for those who want to fine tune there stops accordingly (sorry, the 4h feed does not reach back far enough). You tell us where you would put your ...

HanSolo replied Aug 25, 2012I think you guys are doing a great job marking the targets. What about a more sophisticated version of WIPG? Tomorrow I will reveal to you the chart of today's WIPG one bar after another. Everyone can chime in and tell us how he/she would manage the ...

HanSolo replied Aug 25, 2012It wouldn't make to big a difference, tinkerbelle. Apart from the noise on lower TFs they follow the same rules. In the simple version of WIPG it does not really matter when and how price will reach the anticipated levels as long as it does.

HanSolo replied Aug 25, 2012Hey Grizly, I think everyone has his own unique approach. When I started out I was overwhelmed whenever I had more than five charts opened up. It took me over two years to get accustomed to +20 pairs. It gets easier over time and the better you get ...

HanSolo replied Aug 25, 2012Yeah, sucks. Hey Donkey, I agree with Winston. Take care and protect your wins and losses. EURAUD is in a similar situation. I'm pretty sure it will continue it's way up but may be in for a retrace before that.

Why Is Price Doing What It's Doing?

HanSolo replied Aug 25, 2012Hi PB, thanks for joining us here. I agree with you, Seiden just looks at it from another perspective. Instead of talking about support and resistance he calls it demand and supply. The impact on price remains the same. However, I found his ...

HanSolo replied Aug 24, 2012Hey delta, stop placement has always been a mistery for me, too. It changed as soon as I understood what support and resistance really mean, why and where they happen. I still haven't grasped the whole thing but it helps a lot to place your SL ...

HanSolo replied Aug 24, 2012EURAUD got higher than I expected in this first move up. It already nibbled at the roof of the consolidation area to the left. I moved my SL right under yesterday's bullish candle. I'm pretty confident that it moves further up but needs some room to ...

HanSolo replied Aug 24, 2012Hi SlapShot, remember not only to convert the bars you are trading but all the bars that are relevant for the setup, e.g. the bars that make the BEOB AND the bars it encompasses. I made this mistake in the beginning.

HanSolo replied Aug 23, 2012Wow, great record, Chanya. That proves just how powerful this method is. But consider that you might be even better if you take supply (resistance) and demand (support) into account. You might have even fewer losses but most importantly you become ...
