Yes, I get some insight out of that pitchfork too. It is, again, a good time to contrast the USDCHF and EURUSD charts side by side, I believe.

I like that post. That is an excellent stress-free filtering technique actually. No, I don't always use it, but it does point out in sharp relief the way Strat can hone in on the higher probablity short term trades.

Great points there - My own view still is loyal to AUDUSD at this point on the basis of the monthly chart and a somewhat pale downmove over the last two weeks. It may topple yet, but I am not leaping off the tower for now. Now may be the time for ...

To use my farm lingo, the last large Greek currency downmove took 4 downward picks of the hoe.......this one is on....er.....1...2....3....hmmmm. Month-end perhaps may be a time to water the seedlings! Perhaps I can get a farm subsidy from Dr. ...

If I recall, Strat, you perceptively called USDJPY a flag a few dozens of posts ago. It's no longer a flag....let's see if it's a fakeout. Elitejets sums it up well as usual - I like that risk aversion reference - that could prove interesting, ...

Don't talk about the Italians that way! Greeks, maybe. No...you are all correct...falling knives it would be.......but honestly, if I see a pause at a Nicola-certified support line, I may be tempted to chase a stall, based purely on the bargain ...

Ahhhhh...there it is From 3/11: "Hmmm...where is that Dollar Index chart?" Seriously though, I'm with you - the "if" is just that but so far, it is as it is.

I don't mind, but if you have gleaned that I am waiting for confirmation to buy USDJPY, I suggest that you ....well......ok...hold back now........help Strat!

Indeed, I like it when the crowd is confused! All kidding aside, 92.30 did hold things. I would really like to see some followthrough in USDJPY, or at least an inspired pause; a return below the trendline would do damage against today's abrupt ...

Will be interesting to see if that TL is retested in USDJPY....a few influencing factors there, both ways....stops versus geopolitical versus (god-forbid) technical. By all rights, 92.30 should top things today. I will likely shift attention toward ...

Not much room until the TL, but it is the proper framework. Need to be prepared to exit if taken; others may wait until the resistance is broken.

I like these posts actually - Strat has identified the huge problem in which traders see the trend and try to use PA to justify an entry the other way. The biggest challenge in Forex is to "see" the new move relatively early and climb aboard. Anyone ...

That one is perhaps the most interesting pair on the board. The argument is well framed. The longer term charts cannot be ingnored unless one is banking on the S/R levels and stopped above. The counter argument is well versed but requires a daily ...
