JPY interest rate can be decisive..... but GBP and EUR were maintained.. and AUD increased to 6.75.. so everything pointed to not unwind... maybe this is only a get profit operation of carry trades before the announcement of the JPY rate... just to ...

things can change if the gap is filled quickly... or during all the day.. or not filled... technical trading works very nice... but when fundamentals fear comes... it is very risky to trade with technicals...

we saw similar things in august... just when everybody were seeing a perfect setup for longs... price kept going down... Once I read this as smart money... big players fooling everybody.
