This reminds me of the Tarrini system on another thread. The idea is that the balance teeters between profit and loss, but when it's in profit, just grab it. Lather, rinse, repeat.

ES, Have you considered weighting them according to volatility? It looks like some of your positions are much more dominant than others. Gila

Just noticed this thread, ES. Seems like a great idea. Can't wait to try it tomorrow.

It seems to this dim-witted idiot (Steve's name for me), that we have to find three things to make this work: the composition of the basket, simple and consistent entry signals, and the EA with the mechanics to make this work. The only area where I ...

Zznbrm, If both the conditions aren't in place, what would you say is the more important to enter a basket? I think the first condition will occur more often, but that doesn't make it the better one, especially with the strength of the CHF lately.

You will have a better result if you change the color to none. The black might block some of the price action.

Kos, that was excellent trading. Most people (me included) would have gotten scared out at the second blue circle. I don't have access to MT4 where I am now, but later I want to see if the stochastics would have indicated the areas you got in. They ...

Trade4fun, That was a great post. Thanks. I think we have to take a step back and look at this with the kind of 10,000 ft view that you posted. Granted, it means we can't open the baskets with a script, but the extra minute or two of work is worth ...

Here is a screenshot of what I have been playing with for timing entries. I added the MTF Stochastic and I'm looking for the Stoch to cross up through 30 when the HAS is blue and down through 70 when the HAS is red. Hope this is helpful.

That makes a lot of sense, considering you opened the trades based on strength. Those that are losing are probably correcting and not necessarily reversing. I once opened a basket of trades (demo of course) completely randomly. After an hour, I ...
