Things like this happen and you have a few choices, learn from it and get back on the horse or stay off the horse and walk away. Its discouraging to say the least. Always trade so you will be able to trade again tomorrow.

In theory and with an experienced trader the supposition is correct, however with an unexperienced noob its just the opposite, usually resulting in a blown account many times with just one trade they cant cut.

You don't NEED anymore than 50:1 to accomplish the "goal". Not saying you cant trade with more leverage because many do and succeed, far more however blow their accounts because of it. Your thinking to much about things that wont change. Besides ...
