StillDreamer replied 19 hr agoIt looks that it is before Asia open. Some brokers widen their spreads (ask-bid difference) at that hour (before Asia open after NY close). Future markets are closed at that hour also. Very low liquidity -> higher spreads.

StillDreamer replied May 26, 2026Already nice profit. I would take it. Gold has dropped already until 4520s from 4580. Any positive news/speculation/rumour regarding Iran war can erase all profit. Last week those news usually has came at US session. We have started with negative ...

StillDreamer replied May 26, 2026TPed at 4538. Although last hour candle was promising, I closed early due to US drone hit news. I will wait to go long again from lower prices at 4520s or 4510s maybe.

StillDreamer replied May 26, 2026We dropped from 4580 to 4520s today and it seems that down movements slow down at hourly, so I expect some up retracement. But gap can be totally filled before going up again. This is risky trade and can fail considering still big gap at stock ...

StillDreamer replied May 26, 2026Long at 4535 with target of 4545-4550. Edit: not a recommendation and indeed risky trade considering still big gaps to be filled at stock markets. I just wanted to risk because already it has dropped a lot today.

StillDreamer replied May 24, 2026Because statistically closing gaps are not bad idea, especially if closing direction is aligning with your overall bias. I like to close gap down openings at Gold but having difficulty in closing gap ups due to my overall bullish bias regarding Gold. ...

StillDreamer replied May 24, 2026I like to see gap downs at Gold and SP500 to go long with mind in peace (usually). But, when gap up at weekend openings, it is difficult to trade for me. It is not easy to close gaps with shorts, because I don't like shorting those 2 instruments. ...

StillDreamer replied May 22, 2026Nowadays, Gold is best asset to lose money. Especially if you trade futures and can't hold it overnight, I mean if not swing. Trading SP500 can be safer and more predictable. Also it has enough volatility, not like boring major FX pairs.

StillDreamer replied May 14, 2026It looks no concrete solution yet to Iran war at US-China summit. Optimism at Gold is fading and it is sliding down, and USD is getting stronger. It can be bear trap but daily Gold chart looks quite bearish also. 50 MA line has capped up movements ...

StillDreamer replied May 11, 2026It seems that they will pump up to 4800 before US-China summit with the hopes of solution to Iran war. Now, daily/weekly charts are also in favor of bulls. There were tough bear traps on the way and can be still some shakes.

StillDreamer replied May 7, 2026Shitshow continues. It looks that SP500 and Gold want to climb back up after Trump's last tweets which are saying that ceasefire in effect ( url ). It looks that both sides don't wanna escalate. I caught some small long scalps in both and now ...

StillDreamer replied May 6, 2026I am quite pessimistic about peace in general. Imho, there is high chance of WW3 in a few years. But, there can be some sort of agreement at Iran war before Trumps's trip to China next week (it will be on 14-15 May if I m not wrong).
