Yes, one can never tell nowadays. I hope to see equities futures pointing higher. That will be double confirmation that risk appetite has increased and that will help usdjpy continue its rise.

LOOK AT YOUR CHARTS!!! This is the exact price (129.80) we had the last flash crash on GBPJPY on March 16, 2011. I remember that one like it was yesterday. Very strange it happens at the same exact price level!!!!

usdjpy saw 77.00 just a few short years ago in 2012. i don't think BOJ is going to spend too much money protecting this area. they survived 2012 so we can still see another HUGE drop without breaking historic lows.
