for stocks there's no news but for commodities the news are very rare for exemple if a country is looking for buying gold it will be the moment to buy gold too

litteraly you can't know what will be the trend within 1 day or 1 week or 1 month but you have some " hack methodes " to get profits from forex without knowing if euro/usd will grow up or down within the next hours for exemple martyngale but i DON'T ...

before to trade in real try your strategy in demo be sure that you are making profits ! try it for 3 months and if it's not profitable try another methode i tried almost 5 different methodes to finaly find a profitable one good luck
