Hey Wellard. The most recent bar is not truly considered a pin bar because it did not open and close within the previous bar. It does however have that pin bar look (a long wick) but the close needs to close back into the previous bar. It is at ...

I am out at .37 R/R. Just didn't get that push I wanted to see.

Currently in this as a wick play. Started with my stop a little lower then usually so that I can reduce risk. Hopefully get a little more upside here.

Great use of confluence there. Still didnt 100% love the way it looked but definitely putting the probabilities in your favor with BRN, The accuracy of the trendline, Support turned resistance. Good one!

Not so much expecting anything but if we were to see a scenario where we get a big BEOB closing below the round number and my trend line. There could be a potential for a short. It all depends on how it sets up though. We could continue to bounce on ...

Neytiri, These Indexes could very well shoot up even higher the way the markets have been acting BUT Right now we are at all time highs and for me there isn't much of a story. I see you drew that ascending wedge/ consolidate pattern but for me, not ...

Check it out Martin. Nice strong break here :-)

Martin, I like it ALOT!. I didn't see it because I only had a chance to scan the Russell 1000 yesterday and this is in the 3000 (maybe 2000) not sure. But looks good to me would definitely be on my demo list. I still haven't broken into equities ...

Dan, I will give you my two cents. Yes, the bar is big, which is nice. BUT, I wouldn't really clarify this as a swing low, looks like it is kind of in the middle of what might be a forming ppz. Also this bar has no space above it it runs into all of ...

Agreed, can be harder to manage if PPZ is at bottom. I like to see them and a BRN more in the middle or top if long or bottom if short half.

First Trouble Area - Basically where price is likely to first stall due to Support/ Resistance. Hope this helps. David

Was looking at something like this but wasn't at a BRN and more complicated then I like, so I passed. Nice one though!!!

Hey Str8, Yes indeed it did "win" but my answer to your question would be, no, we wouldn't have taken this bar. I personally passed up on this one myself, actually I didn't even think much about. There are multiple reasons why 1) Bar Not big enough ...

Makwana, Yes, those two bars can be combined to make a 2 Day BUOB. Not one I would necessarily trade as there is not much space before the first trouble area, but it did as much as we could expect it would do. Hope this helps a little. -Dave

Aserbfx, Good Charts. Another one I am looking at in the US is $NUE. One of my issues is the $50 mark right above though. I am really liking trading the weeklies on Demo so far. Keep up the good charts.

Lamer, The Thinkorswim platform has this capability and they have the option to demo. I'll admit that the charting is a bit clunky/ confusing to me who has only used mt4 for trading but a few weeks in of demoing stocks and futures, I am slowly ...

I am catching up on some Boardwalk Empire. Up to season 3 now. So don't ruin it for me. lol :-) Here is a good little quote that reminded me of the James16 trading psychology we all need to have. This is how we should be thinking about trading. Just ...

BRCD - UPDATE I've been watching this equity chart for the last few weeks and it worked out perfectly. Now, there wasn't a price action bar to tip off but, I was looking for price to close outside of the wedge and then set a buy with a buffer. First ...
