You should check your background first and then wait for confirmation. You may lose a few pips while waiting but its worth it in the long run.

Trend is down look to go short between the top and the middle of the channel. Look for a no demand bar (low vol up bar) with a wide spread/high volume up bar in the background. Reverse for long trades
