Wouldn't your stops and takes be just as disguised if they were stored in the EA itself until the order was made? Same issue with slippage but the broker doesn't actually see the code of the EA a trader is running, do they?

Have you considered any alternative solutions? Streaming data from a demo account maybe? I'm surprised someone out there isn't saving data from their broker and making it available for download, unless there are legal issues with doing this?

Why not decrease the order size or leverage and then push the stop out further? I agree that newbies should open live accounts. I didn't demo trade for long but there is definitely a huge difference when the money is real. I think it's worth demoing ...
