You're confusing FSA regulation with centralised market regulation, which are two very different things. If your broker uses Boston Technologies Virtual Dealer, to trade against you, then the FSA are not interested. Brokers can't use this on a ...

What absolute BS. There is no regulated market, for spot forex, which is why they have free license to rip their clients off. I suggest you read details of the case brought by the CFTC against FXCM before making ridiculous comments about a few ...

You quit when, despite your original belief to the contrary, you realise that all spot forex Market Makers & Spread Bettors are amoral sharks. You were just another fish, in the shoal, that fell into the trap and was eaten.

That's, somewhat, cynical but, it is an accurate description of what happens to retail traders. The worst market, in the world, to trade is spot forex. It's unregulated and there is no centralised exchange. If you trade via a market maker or, spread ...

KISS — It's all too easy to get lost in a myriad of TIs, when trading spot forex. There are many systems out there, including some on FF, that are very indie intensive. Most of these indies are lagging and serve no useful purpose whatsoever, ...

Thanks a lot for the clarification

Query — I have the same issue here that I had with Brijon's explanation. You mention closing when the basket is in profit but, at the same time, state that you only trade one pair. One currency pair is not a basket. Sorry to be obtuse but, ...

What is the point of using both RSI and Stochastic? They are both momentum indicators and, therefore, one of them can be made redundant. There is nothing to be gained by adopting a multi collinearity approach with any system.

Thanks for that info. I was one of the early users of SWB and, in fact, had it recoded to take profit in pips and not money. Also, to make it more stable. It's the best trading system, ever, until you get that unexpected, Central Bank intervention ...

Why shouldn't he include other betting systems and progressions? As this is a strategy based on a gambling system, all positive input that could be of benefit to thread followers, shouldn't be considered off limits.

Dreamliner has, bravely, undertaken the translation of Brian's unorthodox syntax into something that mere mortals can comprehend.

The best momentum oscillators, imho, have elements of Dr. Bob's 50/14 CCI in them. Way better than MACD.

Communication problem — I'm grateful to Brian for opening this thread but, am just as grateful to Dreamliner for translating the strategy into plain and simple English. If I've missed a post or video, then my apologies but, can anyone tell me ...

Not successful — This system first appeared on here :- url A group of us followed the system to the letter. One lost his whole account and the rest of us, overall, never made a penny from it. It loked so promising but, never lived up to that ...

No criticism of your idea. It may be excellent but, over the years, I have seen too many effective, simple trading systems get distorted by the addition of a plethora of indies. This strategy seems to work very well, OOTB,

BOJ intervention — The overnight Yen move is a prime example of how this EA can blow your account, if you're running it 24 hours a day. EJ went up approx 300 pips, before any hint of a retrace. If this type of account wrecking price action can ...

This is a very good idea, I traded live with this EA in 2010 and all was going well until the GBP started to get beaten up. One week it went to L8 (vs USD), without a 25 pip retrace and the following week it reached L11 against CHF. The EA has the ...

Usually, error 130 is linked to the EA sending invalid stops. You may find that, in order to use the EA on a 5 digit broker, you need to add an extra 0 to the TP/SL numbers. I hope this solves the problem.

Going back over previous Lawgirl posts, I find that she explains her strategies in a clear and concise manner. This thread is no exception. I have no idea whether this strategy will be a pip gatherer or not but, I like the style with which she ...
