I'll suggest you stick to only one open order. It's been proven to be more profitable from bactests

I didn't change the magic numbers from the default but the EA manages the orders perfectly

I think "we" just might be approaching this EA the wrong way. This EA is designed to catch the start of a trend for the GBPUSD which means in a sideways or erratic market with very unusual volatility it will fail - No offence here. Of course we all ...

Could we consider using the RSI then? The last 2 buys which ended in a loss opened at RSI 70 and above which indicates Ultron was buying at overbought level (no surprise there as those were major resistance zones). At such levels one should expect a ...

Oops! Didn't know that's how the breakeven works. I wouldn't have used it in the first place. Sticking with trailing stop for now.

Hello Paul, Just want to find out if the Breakeven enabled could have been the reason the trade I complained about closed earlier despite using the PDV defaults

I guess some of them killed the long trade early that's why they got the short. I allowed my long to run till it hit SL so missed the short. I'm on the defaults as well. EDIT: Actually, I think I may have turned off Ultron after the last SL waiting ...

Hello cdsaa, Just following up here. Please any luck with the GBPJPy test results?

Just exactly the same position I was in though I left the new order open till we see what happens on Monday. Could do that 'cos I'm on demo otherwise I'd have turned it off. Also you echoed my sentiments on the entries

Well it did. Can't say why though as I just ran the default. The only change I think I made was on the breakeven pips. I'll post a screenshot of my settings when I'm at my PC. I'm not sad about the loss but sad that GBPUSD is repeating the same ...

Actually I've just been running PDV's version by default. Find attached the screenshot of the MA settings. You can run the MA50 and MA53 separately so we know which is better. But kindly run it for at least January 2017 to date. A lot of EAs we've ...

Yeah mine got stopped out at retrace exit as I had it at 83%. I guess that's the default. Something is just off with the entries all happening around Resistance level for Buy and Support level for Sell. If the opposite was the case one would say ...

That's obviously a false breakout. Ultron triggered another buy trade just at the same resistance level as the one that got stopped out by retrace exit. I guess I'm going to put a pause on Ultron till after the Brexit matter is over. An Indecision ...

Got stopped out at the retrace exit

Didn't get the trade signal though. I just looked at the H4 chart and what I can see there is somewhere between a triangle pattern (which means price can breakout from either side) and a falling wedge (which on the other hand should support your ...

I second that big time. It's better to cut your losses than add to it. It's a terrible thing to hope for the markets to turn in one's favour considering we have no control over market forces. That's why personally I'm beginning to detest Scalping ...

Has anyone noticed that Ultron keeps triggering trades at every turn of the 50MA when the 50MA tends to trend a bit? From Pawel's description of the logic behind the entry I'm now strongly convinced that as long as the 50MA continues this dilly ...

I think Pepperstone is also GMT+3 presently like IC Markets 'cos I do compare their details often
