Joel, I just got hit by a sudden 30+ pip spread on USDSGD that occured at 1226hrs (GO server time) which caused slippage on my SL. (SL at 1.29536, price closed at 1.29497 The spread has reverted to 5-7 pips now. Is this normal? My feed from another ...

As a go customer who was bitten quite badly by slippage previously (check my previous postings in this thread), I have to say that in this instance, they had actually warned their customers of the spreads in an email dated Dec 22, which I quote, ...

I am not sure if other brokers have the same slippage at that time, the above trade in XAUUSD was placed on 2011.11.17 18:16:54 and closed at 2011.11.17 20:01:36. Both times are +0800 GMT.

You have a sg behind your nick, so I'd presume you're also from Singapore? Look at my post - url on slippage, and I wasn't scalping??? It was a SL that missed by over 900 pips.
