I was thinking about putting a few EAs on with MB Trading. I opened a PFL EXN account. I see the spread on the Euro is 1.4 pips at 7 p.m. est on Monday which is double the current .7 pips at Trader's Way. My main concern is I've heard accounts of ...

Is there a decent IB that accepts US clients for FinFX? It doesn't seem cashbackforex intorduces them any longer. Thanks.

Damn I'm frustrated with my US broker selection! The only good option for 10k+ I know is CitiFxPro, and for smaller accounts I like Oanda, but running EAs via MT4 on it is too dangerous. Then I read of other brokers like ATC brokers and MB Trading ...

I was wondering how much the spread widens during news and Asian session with them (because I heard someone say 6 pips, which is hard to believe). I'm going to start a demo regardless, just wondering if anyone wanted to comment.

Update: Two of my EA's screwed up last night on Oanda, whereas others people's on other platforms did not have the same problem. One of them I'd been running for a month with no problems. I am still unsure why, but it is hard not to point fault at ...

I went through the motions with lending club and they would give me a loan 3% cheaper than prosper above. Still, 17% is $340 for every $2k, so it is rather steep. It might be better to just get another job and work your ass off to raise start up ...

I've been trading 3 EAs on 3 different MT4 instances with them and everything is ok so far as long as their is a max spread feature on the EA to circumnavigate their spread widening tactics, it is just pending orders I think that Oanda's MT4 has a ...

I'll resurrect this thread to say that Prosper.com and LendingClub.com avoid the banks (not sure if they are just US based, probably). url I had excellent credit and just got a loan for $2k from prosper.com. It worked out to just under 20% for 3 ...

Using a small grid with 1 level may be the key, since one's losses will be small and the margin call will result from too much leverage rather than big losses. The real problem however is sometimes it doesn't calculate the right lot amount to make ...

I was wondering as a US client how to best get set up with FinFx as far as depositing/withdrawal fees go? Anyone using them care to provide a detailed answer? I am a bit concerned with the international wire fees that may be involved, and wonder ...

I asked both the FXCM and FXDD reps who called me after signing up for a demo if my EA that hedges would work, and they both said yes, that they have back office solutions, so I'm not sure.

I think anyone trading the 1M charts should take a look at 2 pip range bar charts. A lot of the noise and static is removed. I use Oanda's MT4 and thinkorswim to produce them, then trade live on Oanda's Fxtrade atm.

I wanted to have a look at how the EUR/USD vs. the EURLFX moves, but I use range bars to trade, anyone know of a overlay indicator that will plot the overlay chart in range bars. Probably not, but thought I'd ask.

Wow, I'm addicted to the 1 pip range bar charts lol, I thought 1m charts was as low as I could go with thinkorswim. It's good for with the trend divergence.

Thanks for making me learn about range bars, they do seem to make technical trading clearer. Have you guys estimated how they compare to time charts. For example, a 15 pip chart seems close to the hourly to me, perhaps a bit less. Anyway, I was ...

A guy named Tony Lipton programmed the CII for thinkorswim that I use. It looks to be correct. The thing I wish to convey is that one can substitute the two "RSIWilder" parts of it for any of one's favorite divergence indicators. declare lower; ...

Hi Vantage, I read your currency meter thread yesterday, as I am making a study of it, and saw your lh hl strategy. I'm going to be studying this thread. One thing that strikes me about your method is that you could look for hidden bearish or ...

I cut my short for +40 at 1.3195 earlier since I wouldn't be at the computer. The thing about this last run up is that there is CCI divergence on the hourly now. This leads me to believe that today's up move was just a stop hunt or retest, and that ...

Here are some observations from the TPO Profile study. Seeing as we shot straight up last Friday, we may get a retrace to 1.3136 to 1.3100 (price usually retraces to fill the thin green lines). However, it seems like we will go to at least 1.3241 ...
