You can always install cygwin and write a bash script (and run it with 'at' regularly) in which you simply protect the spaces with "". I don't know how big the files you are copying but the delay should not be more than a fraction of a second. HTH.

These are the numbers that my 'geritol drinking' computer is spitting out off the hourly (not my normal data feed): > source('norm.R') [1] "bullz" [1] 1.3080 1.3111 1.3114 1.3179 1.3201 [1] "bearz" [1] 1.2731 1.2825 1.2827 1.2828 1.2859 They aren't ...

Ah, the predictive from 1.3040 to 1.2967. That's better. If I understand it now that's why the gman said he would sell it again around 3030. I appreciate when I get just the right hint. Thanks.

There is a very long list (including all of his papers on the subject) in the references section of Mandelbrot and Hudson's book 'The (Mis)Behaviour of Markets'. Also 'http://classes.yale.edu/fractals/' is a light starter. HTH.

I don't get the ageing reference, but as long as I didn't mislead the OP, I am OK with it. Thanks.

That's a great reply! But let's say you were given a set of rules which involve throwing chicken bones and trading according to where they land. Even if your account is telling you 'yes' every day wouldn't you be interested what the rules mean and ...

Probably a language issue, but you do sometimes come across a little, well, uhhmm, you know what I mean. @ gator: sorry the researchy pictures have been painstakingly deleted. But after all this detour could someone in the know please confirm or ...

I thought you went through the posts yourself. Anyway, I'd like to have an ack from gator that he is OK with it. I can send you a 'Best of Hutchinson Hatch' if you interested? edit: before 'I have your attention', it isn't for sale and I made that ...

I thought you don't read trading books. I can send you a book of the collected posts (40000ish) of a guy, can't recall the name, something like gatorinla. If the explanation I gave is wrong then I am sorry for misleading the OP...it is my ...

Norm is a 'price' (expressed as a number or as a fib level or a retracement level...) while a mofu is a range..where something often happens. A price will never become a mofu...it can become part of the range. But to answer the question, sure, price ...

Just taking a guess (but I actually worked on it): it is the lower lip of the mofu from the predictive from 1.2934 to 1.2832. A bull would like that if he wanted to reach 1.2903 (which for me is 1.2900)..but this second part is still pretty unclear ...
