Has anyone received any communications from FSCS - I sure have received more than enough from the ETX, had to blacklist their phone numbers. (My claims are naturally directed to FSCS)

... and if that is the case then he'll be getting 16 700.

Sorry to say but according to current information it looks like your negative balance of $300 000 will be covered with any positive accounts you have and they may (will) be coming after you for the rest.

No offense but the petition is complete bullshit. It will not make them work any faster or slower. They will do their job, regardless of petitions and/or complaints. Only thing is that by constantly harassing them the process might actually go ...

I do have a small sum of money in Alpari - but I'd also encourage people to diversify and spread risks. Don't put all eggs in one basket as shit tends to happen on a regular basis, no matter how smart you are.

Oh come on already. They are doing their job. There are regulations and processes to follow. You will get your money, one way or another, unless you packed over £50 000 in your account which FSCS won't most likely compensate. Just be happy its ...

Take it easy, you can always make claim to FSCS in case you don't receive your account in full. url And better yet, wait for official information and money in your account before making assumptions.

Ye, you cannot trust backtesting results as long the data is not at least 1M accurate. IF you are using MT4 you can check yours from History Center (F2) and see how many 1M timeframe records you have. For example I've more or less complete tick data ...

No offense and as said, not trying to discourage but after having tested and done (and now running live) few robots I must point out that any optimization without good, valid data is useless. Lost enough money (and time) by going into demo & ...

Sorry, I don't have it anymore but used it few years ago to test EA's. Was worth every penny. Perhaps someone has accurate tick data and is wiling to do tests. But from my experience I can really tell the default data with platforms is just plainly ...

Good. For example forextester offers historic datas; url They can be imported to for example in MT4 with a tool, at least used to be. I can guarantee testing results will be completely different with accurate history data.

Not mean to discourage you but make sure that your tick data is 100% accurate on 1M level to get real backtesting results. Data offered by brokers/Metaquotes is far from complete and making a live robot based on it usually results in serious losses.

Good entries are those that do not end up in SL.
