I think it unlikely the FOMC will increase rates today given the low energy prices. But the key is in the language they use. I believe 1.25x is more likely than 1.23x after this announcement.

Thank you for your insight. I too have been long on USD but didn't expect 1.25 to be breached yet.

But wouldn't a higher than expected TLTRO mean that the ECB loan policy is working and therefore QE less likely, leading to a rise in the EUR?
