I wrote a quick EA to backtest this. Have not found any pair/timeframe that returns consistently good results.

There is no limitation set on demo/live other than an expiration date. I have tested on demo data on a 1 minute chart and it opens and closes trades without issue. Not sure how else I can help. image

With the market closed I cannot test with live data, but with historical data it tested fine with a 2 bar breakout on a 1 minute chart. I can test it on a demo account on my end come Sunday when the market reopens here. If it works fine for you in ...

If you change the setting Trade Once Per Direction? to false, the trade would have opened there. Having this setting set to true will alternate trade directions.

Don't trust my results. Test it. Should be easy to find the answers you need. On the one hour chart here are the values that a couple of pairs respond well to. This should be a good starting point for you to see if this will work for you. EURUSD: 24 ...

This is the entry logic. A trade will be opened when the current bar exceeds the highest level or lowest level of the past number of bars defined in the High / Low Extreme Period setting. Each pair has different tendencies, ranges, etc... so what ...

As stated in the description, I have been testing this on a small live account since the end of December. I am currently down. Part of which was a coding error. So far, the results have not been askew from my backtesting. I set up a trade explorer ...

Here is a template for the above Renko generator so that it creates a 3 brick and a 12 brick and automatically applies "Fxgreenhawk 2" template to the charts when opened.

Falkborn, thank you very much for posting the charts! Not sure if you have tried it but here is a Renko generator that makes it easy to switch between different Renko charts and to resize the blocks on the fly. url
