Pros also have risk software look everything they do and if they have too much risk their trades are closed anyway. they are not at 500 x leverage with a $200 account like the retail trader.

An EA can be profitable one month and not the next. It can be profitable on one currency or chart time and not another. It can depend on a setup. No one has found anything that's working every time. If they had why would they sell it?

In the end the best trader is the one that has the best systems in place. Not one that has some special gift for reading the markets.

I think it can fail but only because of the spread. if the reason the original fails is because of the spread then it could suffer same results in reverse. What happens in backtest?

It can be tempting not to use stop but loss can be huge if something happens over night when you are not there to close trade.
