Wondering how you went developing this? Do you get pretty similar results across all of the GBP crosses? Or is there some more tweaking involved? I'm running a forward test at the moment across all the major pairs and all the GBP crosses and so far ...

Great result! Do you mind running the same strategy tester settings across all the main GBP crosses and posting the results? (GBPCAD, GBPJPY, GBPAUD, GBPCHF, GBPNZD). I wouldn't worry about EURGBP because that doesn't trend as much as the other GBP ...

What time frame do you use when trading BB and Stoch? They are obviously the complete opposite type of trading where these 2 indicators try to pick overbought / oversold vs MA CCI which trades the trend, just wondering if you've experimented with ...

All settings here the same as Smart-fx earlier post just with BB and STOCH activated instead of MA and CCI. Smart-fx: Might want to check these settings yourself and make sure I got them right

Write your settings here with BB STCH (only the settings you changed from default like in your earlier post) and I'll convert it into a set file for everyone.

You're right, there is a bit of YOLOing involved. Especially that trade that ended in deep drawdown for months. He was obviously trying to ride the RSI wave up and down and took a great risk by placing trades against the trend, which was a long and ...

One thing I forgot to change on the BTCUSD setfile was the max spread - you will need to set that at least as high as your broker - in my case it is 3600. If you leave it at 5 the EA will not place any trades. Good luck! If only somebody could be ...

Hi Smart-fx, To clarify this post, when you turn off the EA after market close, do you also close all open positions (even those in negative)? Or do you just close them out manually once they are in profit?

Looks like he managed to save the account with a fairly chunky equity drawdown, after leaving positions open in the wrong direction of a strong trend for months and months. Could it be that GBPCAD is one of those pairs that can simply be abused and ...

Yep, he never enters his first trade before 22:00.. so whatever the algo / research he came up with obviously told him that the highest success rate is after that specific time based on trial and error. You are right spreads are normally higher then ...

He has a delay function on myfxbook so you dont see them when they open or close right away - this is to prevent copying his account. As you can see the grid has now closed in profit and he went ahead with a buy, sell, buy, sell sequence that was ...

Interesting time to observe now. Trades are delayed but at present it looks like 2 trades open as he tries to grid out of a bad sell trade. I can't figure out why that sell trade was placed after already closing a sell trade in profit. Currently ...

Absolutely, you could probably even do this on the S&P500 or dow jones index too, without leverage, and be a winner... ... but that is a topic for a different thread I'm going to experiment with a sell order every day at 22:00 broker time, and a ...
