yea trump shouldnt be your go to for economics. With a low yen the 700billion dolllars a year worth of exports are cheaper for the buyers... if the yen goes up then the exports will decline. Its only part of the picture...but its not all bad

Please explain why you think US reduction in interetst rates would result in JPY going down. If japan interest rates go up then the value of JPY goes up. If USA cuts rates then USDJPY goes down.
