Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont on Thursday unveiled an ambitious plan to combat climate change that represents a declaration of war on the fossil fuel industry. At roughly $US16.3 trillion, it’s the most expensive proposal to address the climate crisis from any 2020 Democrat.
