China is expected to announce on Wednesday that economic growth slowed down in the first quarter of this year. The country’s gross domestic product is projected to grow by 6.3 percent year-on-year in the first three months of 2019, according to analysts polled by Reuters. That’s lower than the 6.4 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, and the 6.8 percent that China reported a year ago.
