Iraq Data: April crude exports fell 0.3% on month, SOMO data shows

Iraq's crude exports in April fell by 10,000 b/d, or 0.3% on the month, to 3.413 million b/d, according to state oil marketer SOMO's preliminary monthly data obtained by S&P Global Commodity Insights. Exports were down from 3.423 million b/d in March, the data showed. Iraq's oil ministry previously released exports at the beginning of each month but will now release them at the end of the month when SOMO updates its figures, a ministry spokesman told S&P Global. Iraq has been under pressure to reduce production to comply with OPEC+ output cuts. It breached its cap by a combined 602,000 b/d over the months of January, ... (full story)
