EIA: US natural gas storage up by 59 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage across the United States increased by 59 billion cubic feet in the week ending April 26 compared to the previous seven-day period to reach 2,484 billion cubic feet, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its report released on Thursday. On an annual level, the figure advanced by 436 billion cubic feet. Additionally, the stockpiles were 642 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 1,842 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was higher than the five-year historical range.
