Shell Flags Iraq Gas Development Challenges
Iraq hopes that a wave of new investments to capture gas flared at its giant oil fields could end its reliance on costly, unreliable gas imports from Iran by 2026 — and clean up its crude production. But away from the headline announcements, project delays appear to be costing Iraq dearly.
