Libya's largest oil field restarts
Libya's largest oil field El Sharara field has restarted production, almost three weeks after being forcibly shut down by protesters, state-owned NOC said today. NOC also declared the lifting of force majeure on exports from the Zawia terminal, from where the field's production heads to market as the Esharara grade. A source with direct knowledge of the field's operations told Argus that El Sharara was being restarted and it would take at least a day to reach pre-shutdown levels of production.
