Over 200 million Americans in the path of record-breaking heat wave
Nearly 260 million Americans across the U.S. will be feeling above-average temperatures as we close out the weekend and start a new workweek, a far cry from last week when an arctic blast sent temperatures tumbling from coast to coast. The jump in temperatures won’t be excessive for most, however. More than 230 million Americans will only be slightly above normal as we finish up the first week of November. But the change in temperatures will be noticeable after the record-cold temperatures last week, and some cities could also see record-high temperatures.
