NOAA Reveals Outlook for 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has revealed its outlook for the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season, which goes from June 1 to November 30, in a statement posted on its site. The outlook predicts a 40 percent chance of a near-normal season, a 30 percent chance of an above-normal season, and a 30 percent chance of a below-normal season, NOAA highlighted in the statement, adding that the organization is forecasting a range of 12 to 17 total named storms.
