Key facts: This release refers to trade in goods only. December 2022 monthly values are actual and compared with December 2021. Goods exports rose $640 million (11 percent) to $6.7 billion. Goods imports rose $125 million (1.8 percent) to $7.2 billion. The monthly trade balance was a deficit of $475 million.
