The gas price in Europe continues declining during September 16 trading after almost reaching a record high of $970 per 1,000 cubic meters at the peak on the previous day, according to data provided by the ICE exchange. Particularly, the price of gas futures for October delivery at the TTF hub in the Netherlands currently stands at $771 per 1,000 cubic meters, or 63.2 euro per MWh (on the basis of the current euro exchange rate against the dollar, prices at ICE are in euro per MWh).
