In July 2021, the DG ECFIN flash estimate1 of the consumer confidence indicator2 edged down, by 1.1 points, in both the EU and the euro area compared to June 2021. At −5.6 points (EU) and −4.4 points (euro area), the indicator remains above its pre-pandemic level in both regions. (full story)
