National consumer price index figures during the first half of July of 2021

The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) reports that in the first fortnight of July 2021 the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) registered an inflation of 0.37 percent compared to the immediately previous fortnight; With this result, annual inflation stood at 5.75 percent. In the same period of 2020, the figures were 0.36 percent biweekly and 3.59 percent annually. The underlying price index presented an increase of 0.31 percent biweekly and 4.64 percent annually; for its part, the non-core price index rose 0.55 percent biweekly and 9.24 percent annually.
