INEGI reports that the Monthly Industrial Activity Indicator (IMAI) decreased 0.2% in real terms in the fourth month of 2021 compared to the previous month, based on seasonally adjusted figures. By components, the Generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy, supply of water and gas through pipelines to the final consumer fell 1%, Manufacturing Industries 0.5% and Construction was lower by 0.3%; while Mining advanced 1% during April of this year compared to last March with figures adjusted for seasonality.
