Iran's NIOC aims for quick crude output return

Iran's state-owned NIOC has outlined ambitious plans to ramp up crude production to pre-sanctions levels within three months, as talks continue over a return to the 2015 nuclear deal. "Precise planning has been done to restore oil production to the pre-sanctions levels in intervals of one week, one month and three months," NIOC deputy head of production Farrokh Alikhani said. "Although we estimate that we would need three months for a full recovery, based on our plans and arrangements, we anticipate recovering most of the targeted capacity within just one month."
