INEGI reports that the Monthly Industrial Activity Indicator (IMAI) increased 0.4% in real terms in February 2021 compared to the previous month, based on seasonally adjusted figures. By components, Construction increased 2.5% and Mining grew 2.3%; while the Generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, water and gas supply through pipelines to the final consumer decreased 3.8% and Manufacturing Industries fell 2.1% during the second month of this year compared to last January with figures adjusted for seasonality .
