Hi,
I have spent the last 2 weeks researching the best futures brokers in the US as I find the UK ones are limited on platforms Saxo being the best of a poor bunch. So her is what I have
Tradestation Global they except UK residents and use interactive brokers but Interactive Brokers have ridiculous margin requirements which is the only thing that puts me off.
Ninjatrader excepts UK by an introductory broker Dorman or Phillips . The problem here is the NinjaTrader you have to pay a license lease you can get it free which as added to your commission but you if you don’t take the lease you don’t get all the profile toys. Also there are quite large fees for conversion currency to broker and wire transfers back to UKthey don’t except Card payments which most of the US don’t for some strange reason.
Tradovate good margins and good platform which is web based only fault they use Dorman as introducing broker.
Amp Futures seems good plenary of platforms good margin requirements. Again use Dorman as intro broker.
please feel free to comment if you have any others you would consider. I do like NinjaTrader’s platform ther are a lot of indicators and has an easy language .
