It's not even considered a soft breach. Platform just shuts you down with a message saying no big deal you can trade tomorrow. You can reach the max daily drawdown as many times as you want.

A nice feature especially when you're near the daily limit. You can just take a trade without a stop loss knowing its no big deal if you hit the max daily loss. Maybe you'll get lucky and recover the day or maybe not with no worries going forward.

I still think Apex is good. I'm going to try my method of pulling $300 a day to get funded and continue that when I get a PA amount. So many have contributed so I feel like I owe the group. I'm still being positive and will share my results. Monty was doing that and the haters came lurking. Do your thing Monty and fuck the haters.

The style you trade? Scalp ( 5 or so pips for this particular definition ), swing or position?

Return on investment? Lay low, fly under the radar and take fixed low pip return per day per lot or maximise returns?

All my funded FX accounts are $100k accounts.
I only trade Eur/Used and Gbp/Usd
Scalp, most 10 pips less, occasionaly 25 pips. Due to consistancy rule, one trade can not be more than either 30% or 50% total profit depending on firms,
so I don't do swing trade
I use fixed lot, 2 lots per trade
whenver I make 1% to 2%, I stop trading. A lot of times I reach my profit targets in a day or two. . if I need extra days, I place trades in Asian session, very slow and barely any price movement, I just need to trade to meet 5 day requirement.

Took the liberty to see what this aspiring "bucketshop" is about. Using wayback machine it seems you are correct.

It could have existed before 11th or not. But its very sketchy as normal with these "bucketshops".
Currently battling the great firewall. Trying to get on twitter using various methods but failing. I sent some replies/messages on one of my burner accounts and dont know if its visible because its a ripening one.

I'm not technical good in this stuff but if companies like IQFeed are providing futures feed for multiple platforms (like Multicharts, for example), I think it's strange that this can't be decoded with a bridge.

I know that there are an API that interact with Multicharts to extract the feed that Multicharts receives from IQFeed and have that in Excel in real time. I never tried to do that because I don't need it but this is the kind of "scheme" I was thinking about (and then adding some markup to that fee).

Maybe I'm wrong, I admit that, but so many years watching these cowboys and one expects everything.

I suspect that it could be possible, but not probable. You would need to have a custom platform (and restrict traders to using only that), then you would need to be able to spoof a whole lot of data (including DOM) in order to artificially pad the spreads and slippage. You would have to do all of that while hoping that nobody suspects anything, which would be really difficult since it's so easy to cross-check everything. So, maybe possible, but not probable. We are just so used to dealing with snakes, that it's sort of difficult to put our guard...
When we will see a prop coming with it's own platform, instead of the established ones like Rithmic, etc., then we may suspect that something can be cooked there.

Alpha is about to launch futures, I think it's this week. We will see what kind of platform they use, if a known one or a proprietary one.

Your account is gone. They dont recover money.....I had same thing happen with Bulenox. Even if you set at rythmic level I see during news events nothing helps...

You might get slippage that goes past the daily drawdown but my understanding/experience is you don't lose your account unless you hit the max overall drawdown.
