Metaquotes has too much to lose, these platforms nobody knew them or barely used them they just in for the quick money
Match trader and DX trade shouldn't ever be used. They are absolutely vomit. But if you are going to use them make them the master account and others the slaves because that way you get no extra delay in the horrendous execution engines and your "bad account" is your master. You likely will only get better pricing on the slaves.

I really do not see why as non-US FX trader you should use DXTrade or MatchTrader. I count over 19 prop firms where you can still use MT5 and copy from external source, like your own broker account or other prop firm account. Those few props who have no MT or cTrader and with only internal or even no copy trading rule, should and can be dismissed by everyone. There are plenty of other good and paying alternatives. And in case, the best, I think is diversification than rather sitting on 2 props.

Not sure if you use ctrader in web version or stand alone version. I use the stand alone (the one we install in windows) both in TFF and Blue and it's fine, always connected. I don't dislike ctrader. Not as good as Meta, but not bad either. Very far from the horrendous Match Trader and DXtrader.
In fact I had traded with ctrader for a couple of months in my personal ICMarkets account because commissions were cheaper and I don't have much to blame in terms of "workability". I don't remember exactly why I came back to Meta but I don't have much bad memories from ctrader (and defently not much claims now in TFT and Blue).

Considering i said use those platforms as the main its a bit ironic no.

Watching MFFX and swift (which is same company anyway) get ddos on dxtrade is hilarious. I haven't even started testing vulns on either platform yet, not my style but I am tempted to do it. Fairly sure I could script attack both of them. Again, not something I would do as crime isn't really high on my to do list.

And MetaTrader had / has plenty of issues. Often because it's archaic in its infrastructure. 8cap used to have regular issues.

That's what happens with software / IT.

Plus DX and Match are going through the stress test of prop scale for the first time.

I'm blaming the trader for blaming normal platform issues as an excuse for their crap trading

If you're in the US get used to the available platforms or stop trading CFD props.

So you do not believe that a faulty platform messes with emotions of the most fragile of successful retail traders?

On my personal accounts if I had such problems, I would withdraw immediately and move to someone without them. US or not. I think its time we call a spade a spade and match trader and DX trade aren't the future, aren't reliable and might as well close up shop now and let the real innovators step up.

Well said. Neither one is ready for prime time. They may be able to catch up and be a robust platform in the future perhaps, but for now they are garbage.

They're the future for US prop as far as I can see.

I have not used either one of these platforms, but I have used other platforms. I can say that not all platforms are bug-free, efficient and intuitive etc., and not all complaints may be coming from bad traders.
