There's a shitstorm going on BW's new thread, I was making polite comment compared to what's going on now and I got banned from the thread.

How many people is he going to ban now Rickm is wobbling in support of BW ?

He is getting attacked from all sides, poor bugger, his response - everyone that doesn't trade like him is a dumb trader & gambler.

Upfront I did not trade Gold on Friday...
Was in all reality a simple 100-300 pip trade

With that said some will say ohhh Hindsight charts..and if thats where you are with your trading journey then thats ok...Perhaps one day you will understand what setups are and why you take your setups...And if you have rules the setups are crystal clear with very little ambiguity.

Now Gold would have presented a psychological problem for me ..As I like to short... and shorting off a Yearly High can be a damn good trade. But thats why a smart Technical trader will use context and confluences..and have rules.. Just not short blindly off a Line or a PFH. etc etc...

I know I would have been thinking Id like to short BUT experience of observing PA coupled with my TA, my rules, would not let me short as my rules gave me a clear cut long signal..and then my rules gave me clear cut entries and then my rules gave me a crystal clear exit....

So as some would say many traders using TA may have been caught shorting Gold Friday..and thats quite obvious as the vast majority dont have rules dont have alot of experience etc and simply are gambling or guessing
... Part of the evolution of a trader...

Side Note as I was telling Pete the other night.... Some will think its a shoe in 2000.... I used to think that and thats exactly how I blew up my account in 2011 I think it was.... I was heavy buying Gold above 1950 as I was sure as shit it HAD to goto 2000... And I kept averaging down until I tilted...haha
... Part of the evolution of a trader...

Now I have provided the same charts for a number of years...using the same entries and same exits...So no this is not a hindsight cherry picked trade. Its simply one trade following the rules... Zero ambiguity..

So heres a few charts with some observations and some insight of what a Long signal and then an entry looks like...two different things...and what a Hard exit signal "for me" is "when a market has momentum" and when that candle closes its get out no ifs ands or Butts

Yes Not sure what to make of all the Hoopla and Hullabaloooo...LOL I see I have been banned/ignored by him as well.. I guess just returning my favour and does not want my input on his thread... All good...I think they are doing a fine job of imploding on their own.

Whatever ....we all see things different its just the sheer arrogance of his and others "absolute" statements that they have tried everything it all fails..there way is the best blah blah blah... When all it really shows is their ignorance and very limited understanding of Market structure..They simply can not read charts and thus nothing works..

Peter Caleb has made some very good observations on there I see... Im enjoying his shorter posts !

I think he has done enough damage to himself with his own rants, without the help of any TA trader he so despises.

He is obviously bitter about some course or book he has bought off the internet and has to blame someone for his confusion.

Hahaha you betcha !!!! Most dont know that Andy and I used to butt heads like you can not imagine for 10 years or so,,,...makes the current stuff look like kindergarten....
He won me over with his sweet talk and somehow sneakily poked a sharp pin in my ego and it deflated !! ( OR should I say a little hot air was let out) He then took great advantage of me in ways that I will not discuss. And of course fun times with Pete too....I am still apologizing for that fiasco !!! And Shabs ..I recall Shabs and I having some fun in a long dead thread and some squirrely characters !!!

All good fun and you never know who just might become a good friend on here you just never know is all I can say....so try not to take the idle chat too too seriously people,,,,and actually sadly I must also say..you never know who is on the other side... Some with serious mental issues... I am not referring to anyone at all in this thread or any current thread... Again its a community and sometimes some seriously bad apples show up.... So yes some temparment is probably a good thing...

Rambling again... its about time I start analyzing some charts for the coming week and update "My LINES" and PATTERNS...gasp TA stuff ya know...

Ha! Yep, we butted heads, for over 10 years, and I have recently butted heads with another buddy, hope he reaches out at some point if he reads this.
