As far as I could see, FF is mostly dedicated to Technical Analysis and I am not sure a Carbon topic will find a place here, but I still give it a try.
Carbon is about global warming and climate change. The idea is to offer Carbon emitters a way to offset their Carbon production. Trading places are being set up. There is currently no global unified trading system for Carbon. Regions (European Union), countries (China) and states (California) among others try to implement their own. More info here:

So far I was able to identify two ways to trade Carbon: KRBN a Kraneshares ETF (fees 0.78 percent) and, for the brave only, ECX EUA Futures which is an ICE future, a contract equals one thousand metric tons of carbon in Europe. As of today it is priced around 80kEuro, and with Interactive Brokers there is no margin offered on this future. It was priced 92kEuro last week. I am not able to explain the latest move by fundamentals (aside from a MEP-European Parliament vote last week on May 17.) or technicals.

For a start if interested, Kraneshares offers two good webinars of one hour each. The first dated Sept. 21, the second a month ago or so.

I am looking for additional ressources and useful inputs.
Carbon is a new market, yet a bit confidential, which is due to grow in a near - and remote - future, and at the crossing of several key issues. It has a forex component though I fear it is yet too early for a global unique future contract valid in every country.
