This is beyond frustrating. I really need to close out a few trades. It's been 2 hours now, London is open and currencies are moving quickly. The worst part is that I could log into my MT4 Oanda account but I have to have my MT4 account number in order to do that. And the only way to get that account number is to log onto my account on their site (which I can't do because it's also down). Oanda needs to fix these issues asap (for good), or some people are going to be leaving. And that potentially includes myself.

I thought I had forgotten my password and tried to log in several times, but now it says my account has been blocked due to multiple login tries..

Preserve your case. It's everyone' cases now. If they don't do reimbursements, file a class action law suit via groups. Lawyers would be very well interested to take this case and win it. Why? Because Oanda is a giant corporation and if a major corp can't make up for the losses they caused their clients, the law wins.

Having same issue as everyone else, account is blocked now and no emails coming through!

Thanks, but I'm getting the same error message here as when trying to log into the trading platform.

I should mention that (fortunately) most of the trades are currently in profit, but they very likely won't be for long, so it would be GREAT if they could hurry up and get this fixed asap so I can finally close them out.

Ok so fxtrade is working now for me EU division and i didnt checked so that is why i was able to log in to that page .

It's just a week ago pre-FOMC, we experienced failed login, now it happened again.

Amazingly, I can't login to manage my trades but I can received notifications from my APP?!

Luckily preset TP and SL, else the opportunity of my profits gone again!

No one is safe until platform recovers, which is why I wanted you to preserve your case. Those that experienced loss of money should make this a case and reassert Oanda to comply with reimbursements. Otherwise, they won't be bother and should you experience anything like these in the future, it could be dearly.

I've received numerous direct message from forum members, inquiring on how to direct a reimbursement statement to Oanda.

First, screenshot your trades if you have the chance/opportunity to. Be detailed about the timing of your trades (When you opened it, ticket number and the platform you opened it from). Secondly, request Oanda to reimburse the same amount into your account that you loss due to Oanda's carelessness in this regard. (Only applicable to those whom experienced major losses).

It's a bit funny: I was blocked on my own account because the login was not working too many times LOL. By email you have to unblock your ip than it is working again...

BECAUSE OANDA IS NOT RESPONDING:

PLATTFORM WORKS AGAIN.

This model is no longer a profitable book making method. You may survey other notorious b-book maker on how they operate. Most b-book are now turning into A book because reputation matters. There was a survey done by the institute of financial broking org and they found out that most b-book reputation kills their good will and sustainability operatives in the long-term, therein incurring actual losses in the long run. With the advent of internet, the power is now in the hands of the retails. Times have changed.
