Thanks Jolita, a late reply but yes had a fun long w/e, spent with friends. Yep, GOLD dipped to 1850, was in fun bagging out that sector earlier, have been short from Friday from around 1895, and sold more up to 1916, as posted, a good result. Bit of a retrace going on there atm, but a dull subject.

Anyway, WTI 106+ right now, trust it keeps going, I'm running with a few for nothing this one now, from $32 odd.

I knew this going to happen, as money managers increased long net positions last week. Had to let go of one of my short position, still holding a few sell trades.

Figures were good for oil but lots of tension outweigh fundamentals.

Russian production dropping, more sanction proposals laid on the table.
My guess when when gas will start to drop, oil will follow.
Germany also outsourcing bulk gas supplies from elsewhere.

Nice WTI trade you got there, hope left open until $110

Gold was a devine to trade, clear drop and up and drop again. Nice.

Yesterday Feds increased interest rates which made dollar weak, today bank of England raised interest rates, which made pound weaker. Crazy moves accross all dollar crosses, markets are in panic, lower lows, higher highs been reached.

Hi guys, hope you survived these crazy waves.
Didn't expect such strong drop today, but as I said before gas falls, oil will follow. It did! Plus further lockdowns in China moved those waves.

I'm out of all oil trades, cut some older ones early.

I came across this open interest analysis produced by Buzzz on 5th May. This analysis is new to me, but could be helpful.

Look at the futures change section on 6th of May, perhaps this is what made WTI damp.

well this played out in quite a dramatic fashion. Doesn't appear to be able to break below $99 though. so my expectation is either sideways for a bit or back up again
the overall feel and trend remains bullish IMO. trade carefully
Waited too long for this level. When lost my patience and closed my short trades we are going lower. Expecting a bounce of around $97.50.

Interesting how oil embargo will be traded. Will we hear news by the end of this week?

API data shows a build of 1.6 Million barrels. Demand destruction is beginning with China exports dropping. Inflation data tomorrow.

Embargo will take a while to sign off on and China lockdowns with the recent macro economic environment shows stagflation is setting in. It is offsetting the bullish demand and sanctions.

currently at resistance around 103 on my chart. if it breaks then up we go or else sideways we shall remain
current up move pass 103/104 is labored unlike the bounce 97. i'm expecting it to fail and come back into range (could be wrong)
