Lots of funky stuff happening. Seems indecision would be applicable. Doesn’t seem to want to go down and resistance is being repeatedly defended. At the end of the day u don’t want to get caught the wrong way without a stop. Bias is still bullish

Well Saudis kinda panicking, cutting... I mean "lowering standards" is just not they style maybe? While in Russia, everything seems to be normal... Anyway, some positive news about Corona maybe... in some parts of EU at least.. but we will see soon now... after easing and due to EXP function we shall see very quickly how/where it goes... So demand may/May be returning Coupled with cuts and cuts.... Or in other words.. if it doesn't start to pick up in the next weeks, I will DUMP the market or RIDE the SLIDE back to the HOLE where...

Man... I just love FIN world and everything around it.. It is just one big (real/ity) show and I love to play the part in it... The woman in the clip is "in the game" as well, I can "sense" is right away.. Have to be ENERGETIC AF for this racket and she is (at least appears to me)... that comes at a price but still... I just love THE WHOLE THING

My stance is the same however... Saudis can't keep up at current price.. I mean OIL is their EVERYTHING... RU's don't give a... about current price.. so it is just not possible... to sustain everything at this prices... Also had to love the whole bloomberg "whole picture" game that they provided/inspired, from news, platforms to epic offices... But yeah, you have to BURN money to be in that game, to have industry standards and to be at "verified" events... as Bobby Axelrod said... Either you are "there" or you don't exist... Reference to 05x02...

Because I detected something strong ahead and very possibly soon... But on the other side... nasty swaps coming relatively soon and not the best part of the day for trading... Will keep might hopes very HIGH for the next 42 minutes at least... high LEV style...

do you think this SPIKE on news about extra cut / vat from Saudis etc has something to do with upcoming burst higher? Adding up good figures from Crude Oil Stocks and thats the reason?

WTI was again quite stable today going up by $0.46 or 2% but not great for trading.

decreasing supply and increasing demand. Economics are reopening gradually and pandemic slowing down.... but there are concerns now about 2nd wave so it can weight on oil prices.

well it have not worked out so far. Figures were bad and oil price went south lets see how big will be correction however i dont feel anything bigger will happen 1-2usd max unless 2nd wave concerns get attention of the markets.

still, if you look at video posted by LI1979 on this page - there still isnt enough demand and won't be anytime soon. some of the shale producers already started producing again at these price so more supply will be back. maybe i am just being to pessimistic but with fast re-opening (read increasing demand fast), second wave is almost guaranteed.
plus more expensive oil will need to be rid off first (stored in tankers in the sea) before any meaningful recovery to oil returns

I would not be surprised we see oil selling off from here to $20-22 by the end of the week but too scared to sell seeing this optimism but at the same time I just cannot see it going higher for time being

Well yeah, in the bigger game/picture no, but I am looking for smaller timeframes also, at higher leverage... in parallel to long-term trading... Would I wanted more or even expected more at that entry? Yes... but I still consider it as a good entry, specially for short-term high-leverage spike... Also this part of the day are not the best, I prefer LON times... To get my views re-established on longer time frame, I think I will have to wait for about (less than) a week, to get some glimpse I hope... since pretty chaotic, still.. But if I'll see shorter time frame to jump on, with high lev, I will jump on it.

Totally agree with you, however i'm more optimistc about pandemic. I think we will reach 35USD on BRENT and then come back to 30USD area as of today. There is no much demand as of now and as you mentioned there is 1.2Bln barrels on tankers awaiting. Once airlines relaunch and there will be no second wave then i wil be more bullish. For now i see 35-38 as top. If we see second wave we could see the huge sell off again.

I'm happy for 3rd stage of reopening economy starting on Monday in my country. Happy to see hairdresser again lol

PS: If you look at google traffic metrics its rising across the globe and people are choosing cars over public transportation on health concerns. It wont fix everything but definitely will help to reduce oversupply.

Good luck everyone
